Bruce Flatt
Bruce Flatt is Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Asset Management, a leading global alternative asset manager with $600 billion in assets under management. He joined Brookfield in 1990 and became CEO in 2002. Under his leadership, he has developed a global operating presence in more than 30 countries. Prior to his current role, Bruce ran Brookfield’s real estate and investment operations and has served on numerous public company boards over the past two decades.
Emmanuel Pitsilis
Emmanuel Pitsilis is the co-head for Asia Pacific at Partners Capital. The firm manages over USD 40 billion in assets globally across both traditional and alternative asset classes. Between 2014 and 2021 and just prior to joining Partners Capital, Emmanuel was an entrepreneur and early-stage venture investor focused on Asia B2B SaaS and FinTech. An engineer by training, he is passionate about leveraging technology to transform “old” industries. Over 7 years, he co-founded two tech businesses and built a successful venture portfolio around the thesis that innovation is fundamentally changing the way Asian SMEs finance themselves, access services and technology and conduct commerce. Emmanuel started his career at McKinsey & Company in 1993 and left as a Senior Partner in 2014. He remained a senior advisor to the Firm until early 2021.
Dr Mohammed El-Erian
Dr Mohammed El-Erian is the President of Queens’ College, the University of Cambridge. Since 2014, he has served as Chief Economic Advisor at Allianz, the corporate parent of PIMCO where he formerly served as chief executive and co-chief investment officer. Dr El-Erian first joined PIMCO in 1999 and was a senior member of PIMCO’s portfolio management and investment strategy group. He rejoined the company at the end of 2007 after serving for two years as president and CEO of Harvard Management Company, the entity that manages Harvard’s endowment and related accounts. Before coming to PIMCO, Dr El-Erian was a managing director at Solomon Smith Barney/Citigroup in London and before that, he spent 15 years at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C. where he served as Deputy Director before moving to the private sector. Dr El-Erian also served as Chair of President Obama’s Global Development Council from December 2012 to January 2017 and has published widely on international economic and finance topics. He is Chair of Gramercy Fund Management, a columnist for Bloomberg View, and a contributing editor at the Financial Times.
Tony Kim
Tony Kim, Managing Director, is a portfolio manager within BlackRock’s Active Equities Group, overseeing the BlackRock Technology Active Equity strategy and is head of the technology equity team. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2013, Tony spent over six years as the Senior Research Analyst at Artisan Partners (2006-2013) based in San Francisco covering the global technology sector on their International & Global Growth Team. He also worked as a Research Analyst at Credit Suisse Asset Management (2001-2006) where he covered the technology sector for the U.S. large cap funds and was a portfolio manager for the Global Internet & Software sector fund. Prior to this, Tony worked at Neuberger Berman (1998-2000) as a research analyst covering the technology and telecom sectors, as well as at both SG Warburg (1994-1996), and Merrill Lynch (1996-1998).
Eli Lee
Eli Lee is Head of Investment Strategy at Bank of Singapore and he plays a central role in developing asset allocation and thematic strategies across global asset classes for the Bank. He is a key member of Bank of Singapore’s investment committee, which determines the Group’s overall investment strategy and direction, and serves as a member of the OCBC Group Wealth Panel. He also previously led the Special Situations Research team at OCBC Investment Research. As an investment thought leader, Eli’s independent perspectives are often sought after by international media, including the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and CNBC.
Jean Chia
As Head of PMRO, Jean Chia is responsible for formulating Bank of Singapore’s house views, including its Investment Strategy for FX, Equity and Fixed Income Research, as well as Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM) and Advisory Portfolio Management (APM). She has over 20 years’ experience in Private Banking and Asset Management. She was previously Head of Equities Advisory and Sales at the Bank, and Head of Client Advisory Services for Equities, Investment Products and Services at UBS Wealth Management, Singapore. Prior to UBS, she was a Vice President at Allianz Dresdner Asset Management (now known as Allianz Global Investors). Jean also serves as a member of the SGX Advisory Committee.
Joseph Ng
Joseph Ng covers the Global Technology sector in the highly-regarded Equity Research team at Bank of Singapore. He is frequently interviewed and quoted by various media outlets, and provides thought leadership on topics pertaining to 5G, cloud, and the impact of geopolitics on technology. Joseph started his career in Singapore Airlines, focusing on corporate strategy, restructuring and fuel hedging. Prior to his current role, Joseph spent time on the sell-side in the area of real estate within Singapore and China.
Mansoor Mohi-uddin
Mohi-uddin is a macroeconomist and financial market strategist with two decades experience covering institutional investors around the world. Mansoor speaks to policymakers and central bankers and maintains links with think-tanks in Washington and Beijing. He appears on CNBC and Bloomberg Television, his work features in The Economist and he has written for the Financial Times. Mansoor was most recently at the Royal Bank of Scotland’s investment arm, NatWest Markets, where he was the Asia region's Macro Strategist and previously the bank’s Global Head of FX Strategy. Prior to joining RBS, Mansoor spent 17 years at UBS in London, Zurich and Singapore where he was also Global Head of FX Strategy from 2002 to 2014.
Todd Schubert
Todd Schubert is the Head of Fixed Income Research for Bank of Singapore. He joined the Bank’s predecessor ING Asia Private Bank in 2008. Prior to that he was Head of Asian Fixed Income Research at Deutsche Bank as well as a Global Credit Portfolio Manager with the Government of Singapore Investment Corp. With more than 30 years of Investment Experience, Todd has also worked for a number of major U.S. Financial Institutions including USAA and GE Asset Management.
