At Bank of Singapore, we take a proactive and structured approach to help our clients with their legacy planning. To this end, we have curated an exclusive annual programme GenINFINITY–ENGAGE for our clients’ children (age19 to 25) to gain an appreciation for wealth and financial management as they will become increasingly involved in the handling of their family’s business and wealth.
Event highlights
This year, we hosted 28 young adults from over 10 countries including China, Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Since launch, over 240 participants have benefited from the programme.
China is the second largest economy globally and is playing an increasingly important role in driving innovations with the amazing success of its home-grown tech giants.
To understand the force behind this, we brought participants to Shenzhen – China’s Silicon Valley. We visited Tencent and Huawei; experienced DJI’s latest drone technology and NIO’s self-driving electric cars; and dialogued with Hax start-up accelerator and the Shenzhen Economic Development Board.
Participants gained insights into the workings of tech giants and the latest market trends that are invaluable to get a head start as an investor, entrepreneur and business leader of the future.
Participants also attended interactive workshops to enrich their investment and wealth management knowledge; and develop effective communication and leadership skills.
