Sustainability Summit 2023

Most of us have observed increased intensity and frequency of weather-related impacts, experienced record-breaking heat, and extreme weather changes. Weather-related disasters have caused loss of lives, and disrupted livelihoods and businesses.

Recognising this existential threat, Singapore has raised its national climate target to achieve net zero emissions by 2050, surpassing targets set by many of its peers in Asia. The transition to net zero demands ambitious and collective action: The public and private sectors, as well as community and individuals, all have key roles to play in coming together to transform the way we live, work, and play in a low-carbon future.

Bank of Singapore is pleased to invite you to our BOS Sustainability Summit 2023, which will feature experts on a range of sustainability topics - from renewables and upcycling to use of AI technologies and impact investing – shed light on how to implement sustainability practices within their ecosystem.

Our keynote speaker Ms Peggy Liu is Chair of the Joint US-China Collaboration on Clean Energy and a Hillary Laureate. An internationally recognised expert on China’s energy landscape, JUCCCE has been credited for China’s leap into clean energy and is well known for its effectiveness in implementing system changing programs and fostering collaboration with China. Dubbed the “Green Goddess of China”, she has also been honoured as a Time Magazine “Hero of the Environment” and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.
