Recognising this existential threat, Singapore has raised its national climate target to achieve net zero emissions by 2050, surpassing targets set by many of its peers in Asia. The transition to net zero demands ambitious and collective action: The public and private sectors, as well as community and individuals, all have key roles to play in coming together to transform the way we live, work, and play in a low-carbon future.

Dubbed the “Green Goddess of China”, she has also been honoured as a Time Magazine “Hero of the Environment” and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.
