Renato de Guzman, is CEO of Bank of Singapore, which is the former ING Asia Private Bank (IAPB) that was acquired by OCBC Bank in January 2010.

An accomplished banker with more than 35 years of banking experience, he has been instrumental in growing the private banking business in Asia when he was Chief Executive Officer of IAPB since 2000. Under his leadership, he achieved 41 % compounded annual growth in earning assets under management (2002 – 2007) and 39 % compounded annual growth in revenues in the same period. He received the ING Leadership Award for the successful turn-around of IAPB’s businesses in Asia.

Renato continues to build on Bank of Singapore’s success as a leading Asian private bank, registering US$39.6 billion in earning asset base (as of 31 December 2011), a 24% growth from 2010. Net new assets in 2011 was a record high of US$6.5 billion, up from US$2.0 billion in 2010.

Under his leadership, Bank of Singapore has received several industry accolades, including Most Outstanding Private Bank in Asia Pacific by Private Banker International in 2011; Best Private Bank in Singapore by FinanceAsia in 2010 & 2011; Best Private Bank for Relationship Management and Range of Investment Products in Philippines by Euromoney in 2010; and Best Private Wealth Management Bank in Southeast Asia and Singapore by Alpha South East Asia in 2010 & 2011. The Bank is also consistently ranked amongst the Top 3 Overall Private Banks and Best Domestic Private Bank in Singapore by Asiamoney.

Renato was Country Manager for ING Barings in Manila (1990 – 2000). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering (Ateneo de Manila University), a Masters in Business Administration (with distinction) (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium) and a Masters in Management (McGill University, Canada).

Peter Teo
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Working closely with the CEO on strategic business planning, policy development and business optimisation, Peter is responsible for ensuring that the operations of the business are conducted prudently and within the framework of established policies and laws. Peter has held numerous senior positions in ING Bank over the last 22 years, which includes serving as Deputy CEO for Asia Pacific, ING Private Banking Asia since 1999. Peter holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore.

Olivier Denis
Global Marketing Head, Singapore and International Market
Olivier served as Head of Private Bank for OCBC Bank from 2006 to 2009, prior to its acquisition of ING Asia Private Bank in 2010. He has also headed the wealth management divisions of several other banks over the course of more than 12 years in the private banking industry. Olivier holds a Masters of Business Administration from Cranfield Institute of Technology and a Masters in Civil Engineering from ESTP France.

Marc Van de Walle
Global Head of Products

Marc is responsible for the product platform on which all investor solutions are built. In particular, Marc has responsibility over the Bank's Investment Strategy, Research, Discretionary Portfolio Management, Trading Advisory, Wealth Planning and Trust Services.

In February 2013, he was also appointed as OCBC Bank's Head of Group Wealth Products. In this new role, Marc will spearhead the creation of a centralized knowledge hub for wealth management products across the OCBC Group, as well as provide consistent investment views for wealth advisory across various client segments.

Starting his career in retail banking at ING Belgium in 1993, Marc subsequently moved to private banking and became the country's commercial director. In 2003, Marc was appointed to the Executive Committee of ING Luxembourg, where he was in charge of retail, private banking and asset management. Marc went on to join ING Asia Private Bank (now known as Bank of Singapore) in January 2009.

Marc graduated with an Economics and Business Administration degree from the University of Brussels and holds an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Sermon Kwan
Chief Executive, Hong Kong Branch
Global Marketing Head, Greater China
A veteran banker with 32 years of banking experience, Sermon has worked in global financial institutions, in various banking segments including consumer, commercial, corporate and private banking. His international banking experience includes working in countries such as Canada, U.S., Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Korea. Sermon has held leadership and management positions in the private banking segment since 1992, through which he has built solid and experienced teams serving private clients in Asia and across the globe.

Sermon holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from the University of Calgary, Canada.

Kristen Quintos

Global Marketing Head, Philippines
Kristen is a seasoned banker with investment banking, corporate finance and relationship managing experience across a diverse range of companies and sectors in the Asia Pacific region, in which she has held appointments that include Senior Investment Officer and Chief Financial Officer. She has had experience in executing all aspects of financial reporting, has negotiated loans and other funding transactions with international banks and has conducted due diligence processes for prospective investee companies in Singapore, Indonesia and Australia. Kristen earned her Masters in Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Philippines.

Yelandur N. Nagendra

With more than 30 years working in finance and banking, Nagendra has served as Chief Financial Officer, Investment Manager and Head of Marketing in private banking and asset management firms. In Bank of Singapore, Nagendra is responsible for marketing to the global diaspora originating from the India Sub-Continent, through teams based in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and London.

Nagendra holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Mysore, India.

Bahren Shaari
Global Marketing Head, South East Asia
Bahren has more than 20 years of private banking experience in various global financial institutions. Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, he was Managing Director of UBS AG Wealth Management where he headed the South East Asia and Australia marketing team. He is active in public service and is currently a Board Member of Singapore Press Holdings Limited where he also serves as Chairman of its Audit Committee. Bahren has previously served as a Board Member of the Maritime Port Authority of Singapore from 2009 to 2012. Bahren has also been conferred the Public Service Medal, in 2008 by the President of Singapore.

Bahren holds an Accountancy degree from the National University of Singapore.

Lee Han Chwee
Global Head of Compliance
Han Chwee joined Bank of Singapore in November 2011 as the Global Head of Compliance, a newly created role. Han Chwee is responsible for ensuring that the Bank fulfills its compliance requirements across the various markets in which it operates.

Han Chwee has more than 10 years of experience having held regional compliance and regulatory responsibilities at several global financial institutions. Han Chwee also has extensive experience managing private banking regulatory compliance in both Singapore and Hong Kong. Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, he was with Fortis Bank SA/NV, Singapore as Regional Head of Compliance Private Banking, Asia since 2008. Fortis Bank SA/NV was subsequently merged with BNP Paribas in 2010.

Patrick Goh
Global Chief Operating Officer
Patrick joined Bank of Singapore in November 2011 as Global Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for its Operations and IT. He brings with him a wealth of experience in treasury management, business change management, process re-engineering, as well as external and internal audit. Patrick was previously Senior Vice President at OCBC Bank where he held key positions in the Global Treasury Division as Head of the Business Management Unit and the Group Audit Division as Head of Treasury, Investment Banking and Market Risk Audit.

Ho Soo Woon
Global Chief Financial Officer
During his 20 plus year career, Soo Woon has worked in various global financial institutions in a variety of senior roles spanning Treasury, Operations and Finance. His assignments include a stint in New York as CFO for American Express Private Bank as well as COO/CFO for Clariden Leu Singapore. Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, he was responsible for Operations and Finance at Bank Sarasin-Rabo (Asia) Ltd. As Global Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for the financial functions of the Bank, including financial accounting, planning and reporting. He also advises on the adoption and implementation of financial and accounting strategies. Soo Woon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from the Nanyang Business School at the Nanyang Technological University.

William Shak
Global Chief Risk Officer
A veteran banker with 27 years of banking experience, William joined OCBC Bank Group Risk in October 2006 as Head of Trading Credit Risk Management. His last held position in OCBC Bank was Head of Financial Institutions Credit Risk Management before joining Bank of Singapore in February 2013 as its Global Chief Risk Officer. In this new role, William is responsible for the credit, information security, market and operational risk management functions.

Prior to OCBC Bank, William has held various risk management positions at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Toronto, Canada. William graduated with a degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA from Syracuse University, NY.

Ms Leong Wai Leng
Head of Business Management Unit, CEO's Office
Ms Leong Wai Leng was appointed as Head of Business Management Unit, CEO's Office of Bank of Singapore in April 2013.

Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, Wai Leng was CEO of OCBC Bank China since August 2007 where she has overall responsibility for directing and executing the OCBC Bank's growth strategy in China. Under Wai Leng's five year leadership, OCBC China tripled its branch network and grew its revenue more than four times to S$232 million in 2012. A Singaporean and a graduate of the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Wai Leng has more than 24 years of experience in finance, both in the corporate world and in commercial banking.

She has worked in China for the last 12 years, including five years of corporate experience with Philips Electronics Group as its China Country Treasurer and Vice President, China Group Chief Financial Officer. She held several senior banking positions in Citibank Singapore, JP Morgan Chase Singapore, and HSBC China.
